This Weekend was Art Walk in Miami!!!!! The weekend couldn't be better! Saw Metric live on Wed, Afrobeta on Thurs and Misfits on Frid.. Saturday went to Rainbow City by Friends with You with my friends and Sunday spend the afternoon at the Sanrio gallery opened for their 50th Anniversary!

Lately-Events-Projects ♡

Lately I've been doing great! I got a job as a Marketing and Sales Assistant 2 weeks ago.. I loveee it.. my boss is so nice, I get to work closely with trends, fabrics and photography! It's a full time job mon-friday office hours, so when I get home I have the other job I love.. Just Because ♡ so I've been really busy and trying to make it with new items on craft shows every weekend! These Past few shows have been awesome, today I've applied to more new ones :) 

I'm planning 2 giveaways with two bloggers/crafters LoveElycia and Alexis on December ..so stay tune! :)

Halloween 2010

I actually celebrated Halloween 1 day this year... it was awesome tho'! :). I wrote on a blog post earlier, I was gonna be dressed up as Hit Girl from the movie Kickass with Angel Acevedo, we were the best Kickass costume ever! Me and my friends danced all night at a house party in Miramar, Fl! Here are some pics 

Dekka: Art,Music and Fashion

Later that same Saturday from last post, I stopped by Dekka- It's an event that incorporates music, art and fashion in a warehouse on Hallandale Beach, FL. Tickets are 10 dollars at the door, I got in free, watched the bands play live and looked around the fashion displays. 

Cool place to hang out, on Nov 6th, Just Because by LeeLee will be displaying some handbags and accessories here.. don't miss it! 

Pink Ghost Events Every Saturday 1-5pm

On Saturday, I went to Pink Ghost store in Hollywood, Fl - I almost died! Its so lovelyyyyy! :) Every Saturday they have a mini market for local florida artists, and this following Saturday, Just Because by LeeLee will be there from 1pm to 5pm ! YEAAH

Indie Craft Bazaar Event

Yesterday was amazing!
The Indie Craft Bazaar was a success and I had to blogged it! :)
This event happens every month, different artists participate and this was my first time selling here!

I contacted Kalee from UStrendy to be part of http://www.ustrendy.com/featured I guess there's alot of people out there contacting her too, so Im still waiting for my section to be up! here are my interview questions/answers :)

What is your inspiration for designs that are being featured?

I get inspired by music, art, and the people around me. I am always watching people when I go out, what they are wearing, what they are doing. I really like urban movements and the pop culture. I usually design and sketch when I am in a boring place - I believe there’s inspiration everywhere I go!

What drove you to choose fashion design and specifically starting your own design?

It started way back in high school when I got my first sewing machine from my grandmother. I was really curious and wanted to learn. Eventually my passion for fabrics, sewing and wanting to do a bunch of stuff at the end came up fashion design as my career. My designs specifically started out in the middle of my studies – my love for handbags and urban styles. These designs were sketched while I was at school in middle of general courses, I used to sit in the back and sketch. I still  have lots of sketches that need to be created!   

October is here!

October is my favorite month!!!!! Many events and lots of things to do!!! YEAH

Just Because will have a booth and will be selling bags and little cute things! Don't miss it!! Be sure to arrive early so you can have a swag bag with lots of goodies.

Apt 12 Studio Photoshoot

The photoshoot with broadcasting live tonight was a hit! The live broadcast lasted 2 hours!

It was a shoot for Apt 12 Studio (http://apt12studio.com) three of my friends: Edwin Hernandez, Guillermo Piloto and Juan Carlos also knowned as John Charles - each one with their amazing talents- illustration, graphic design and multimedia are working together to create their own studio and their own clients. 

Miami Horror

Miami Horror is an eletro-pop Australian band. They were at LIV in Miami Beach Sept 15.

Lately and New Projects

Im working right now on making 16 converse bags big and 16 mini bags!!

I have made mini deadlines so I could finish faster.

When I finish those converse bags, I want a shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm also doing freelance with a business -fashion woman, she wants to make a beach/yoga bag. Im designing it, let's see how it goes :)

Since TODAY I'm gonna stop drinking coke :'( But it is done. finito.

I have no car, I crashed it a week ago.. Its really hard not having a car here specially where I live.. but hey, the bright side is that I have lots of things to do!! and wonderfull friends that come by and visit me or take me around! yeii

That's it ! Im gonna keep doing my work at home while watching some netflix movie

Afrobeta - Tony Smurphio's Bday

On Friday, August 27 Afrobeta's band member - Tony Smurphio had the best bday ever! A concert in downtown Miami - free entry before 12pm ! The band gave out animal masks for the crowd to wear!

Picnic Day

Miami's weather is very tricky.. one moment it can rain like if there's no tomorrow.. and all of a sudden it stops and everything is bright with a big beautiful rainbow in the sky. So when planning picnics and stuff out doors - you gotta be careful!

Last week My friends and I decided to make a picnic! It was very challenging because we started out in Publix and 3 hours later we were at the Park. We took so long deciding that we were almost going to cancel.. lol.

Fashion's Night Out
