My Toy and Vintage Cameras

I shared my Camera collection awhile back. I added three new pieces since I wrote that post. Above, you can see the Kodak Instamatic Camera next to the Holga. I bought it at an Indie Craft Bazaar last year. It came with box and film.

The polaroid in the middle is a new buy also. The flash is different from the rest and it actually works! So far, two of my polaroid works with film, yay!

I also have the white rainbow polaroid, this camera was on my list for a long time!! I got it from etsy :)

This cute little one I got it from Urban Outfitters online. It is actually a webcam.

I still don't know which Diana F camera to get; mini, medium or the one with flash. Any help?

New cameras are on my way!!! yay!

New Project Soon!!!!

My first Venevision project was "Los Secretos de Lucia" you can watch the trailer below :)

It's been 2 months now since we finished, I can say that I felt so happy and so free. I love my job, don't get me wrong, but it's all I do, I don't have time for anything else. My next project with Venevision is coming real soon, we start on Oct 7th!!! I am very excited, I know what I'm getting into, its 12 hours a day or more working non stop and only 1 day off a week: Sundays. So I am preparing myself physically and mentally for this to happen!

We will be working on a new series launching next year for Univision about a serial killer (we don't know anything else yet because we are starting from scratch.. *yikes). This time will be my first long project (7 months). I feel blessed to have this opportunity again and this time, with more benefits, like vacations on Thanksgiving and Christmas, medical insurance from the company and working with my friends again.

Digital Photography

I bought my first professional camera in May this year to start learning about photography. I can say that I am photography lover, I love taking pictures and I was eager to learn and understand the art.

My last tv project with Venevision ended in the summer, so I decided to take a break from work and just focus on sewing, knitting and photography lessons. I went to my hometown; Cartagena, Colombia for 2 weeks, I went on a cruise to the Bahamas with my boyfriend for a whole week and I enrolled in a non-credit Digital Photography beginners class in Miami Dade College.

Tomorrow is my last day of class, I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. On Saturday will be my very first photoshoot, a couple for their wedding pictures!!

Here are some shots I took in my class,

thanks for reading! xoxo.
